HR People Ops EMEA Mistral AI 📍 Paris, France or London, UK Mistral, a global AI company developing advanced AI models, applications and enterprise solutions, is looking for an HR People Ops EMEA specialist to support its international workforce. This is a hands-on role focused on HR operations, payroll, employee lifecycle management and employment compliance across France, the UK and the US. What you’ll do: — Manage employee onboarding, coordinating HR systems, IT setup and office arrangements — Oversee employment contracts, documentation and employee lifecycle processes — Maintain HR records, policies and employee handbooks — Manage payroll processes and collaborate with external providers across France, the UK and the US — Handle immigration requests, work permits and related documentation — Support employee relations, benefits administration and time-off policies — Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and conduct HR audits — Improve HR processes and collaborate with Finance, Talent Acquisition and other internal teams What they’re looking for: — 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally supporting international employee populations — Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies in France, the UK and the US — Hands-on experience managing payroll and employee benefits across multiple countries — Experience handling employee relations and providing HR guidance to managers — Strong process improvement and operational efficiency skills — Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms — Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills — High level of ownership, hands-on approach and a builder’s mindset What they offer: A comprehensive benefits package that may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, and meal and transportation allowances.
